Since the beginning, Officehost Cloud Solutions has built and maintained a business on trust, reliability and understanding. Much of our experience has been gained through previous employment, attending regular training and just listening to what the customer wants and needs. Our team are from an Engineering background not Sales, so if we recommend something it’s because we can see the real value to the customer and not just our bank account.
We have gained extensive experience with every product and service we provide, if we don’t have knowledge of a product we don’t supply it, it’s that simple. Our business is built on personal relationships with our customers, it is important to understand the needs of the customer but also maintain the confidence to advise them if there is a better approach to achieving their goal.
Bret is the founder and Managing Director of the company. He started his IT career back in 1996 after buying his first proper computer. His career progressed into structured cabling, telephone systems, server and network installations and a vast amount of troubleshooting and customer support. He is a married Father of 3 and when he isn’t spending time with his children, he can be found in his office making something (or breaking something) as he has a keen interest in anything electronic.
His career has seen him working for HP, Siemens, Lloyds TSB and Bakkavor but 3 years in the Renewable Energy sector have been the highlight of his career so far. Bret was responsible for the design and implementation of remote monitoring systems for large scale ground-mount Solar PV installations and spent a lot of time working with Spanish and German companies. We forgot to mention Bret also fancies himself as a bit of a photographer but, he’s not very good at it to be honest!
